The recent trend in the world of professional wedding photography is to become a member of international wedding photography associations, such as the WPJA, the ISPWP or PHOTOGRAPHIK.ORG. All coming from the United States of which only the Americans can be the "inventors". These associations claim that every wedding photographer the becomes a member of their network, so to speak, will have a guaranteed success. Because by linking "elite photographers from all over the world" one becomes the benchmark, the best....as if a simple inscription could have a magic effect on the quality of the finished work !!

You could almost believe that some of my fellow photographers, put more effort into flattering their ego with benchmark postings and belongings, rather than prevailing in their artistic work. As for me, I've chosen to stick to my morals and I won't associate any of my images or work with a community that spends more time selling advertising space or organising competitions to win awards, than devoting a real interest to the profession.
